Bettingmad Golf Weekly Updates


Please Note:
These updates are useless on their own and must be used via the Bettingmad Golf program to add recent results to the main database (see Bettingmad Golf)

You do not need a database program such as Access, as all the database handling is done from within the program.

Updates will all be named in the format of the Monday date of the results from the weekend just finished
e.g. 08_01_07 for Year = 08, Month = January and Date = 7th.
Updates will usually be available on a Monday and will remain on site indefinitely.
All the database updates must be added, if one is missing the next one cannot be added as numbers must be consecutive. 

Adding A Weekly Update:
Download the required weekly zip file, which usually contains 3 files.

Unzip the files to your Bettingmad Golf directory (Typically C:\Program Files\Bettingmad Golf)
If prompted to overwrite files say "Yes" as the Eurofield.csv and USField.csv files have the same name every week.

Then run the Bettingmad Golf program select the 'Add Data' option from the top menu, click the 'Add Data' button,
browse and select the oldest database you want to add to the main database e.g. 08_01_07.mdb

A message will stipulate if the update was successfully added or not. If attempting to add an update out of chronological order the program will not allow it.

When an update is added successfully both the zip file e.g. 08_01_07.zip and extracted database 08_01_07.mdb are no longer required and can be deleted.

The USField.csv and EuroField.csv files are used via the Weekly page in the program to preview the week ahead.
